I purchased my best friend Austin three years ago at that time he was on the same food that that he was on when I purchased him. About two years latter Austin kept getting really sick. We did extensive blood work only to find out that his kidneys and liver were having major problems. Now bear in mind this was right around the time that they were having all the food recalls but Austins food was not on the so called list. So I made the decision to do some research and make some changes in his diet.
One of my friends recommended The Doggy Store. From the moment I arrived and explained what my best friend was experiencing these guys really new their stuff. Any questions I asked the patiently would answer in addition they gave me sample to try to see if Austin would eat it. Austin can be a bit picky. There is a variety of different foods but after doing my own research I decided on two particular brands.
The point I am making is that if you are like me your pet is person...a part of your family. And it pains me to know he was suffering from poor quality food. I am so thankful for The Doggy Stores staff and their advice and recommendations. Austin is like my child and I only want the best for him. His life is priceless to me. I would rather spend a little more on better quality then in the vets office. I have a great vet but he never made any of the recommendations that the staff did. Austin is a healthy, bouncy, little boy and I thank god for The Doggy Store.

The Doggy Store has been a wonderful addition to our community. Our dog was on his death bed when they opened, after stopping in and discussing his problems, they were able to recommend a dog food that basically saved his life. After all the dog food recalls it's good to know there's a store out there that actually cares about what they sell.

My dog Polly was sick all the time, we went to many vets in the area, and each would recommend different procedures, but none really knew about nutrition and either did I. We stopped in about 2 months back after hearing about the store from my friend and were blown away. Finally a store that keeps it real. Someone to actually answer my questions and not charge me for it. After taking their advice on nutrition and putting Polly on a good diet, raw and dry, he is now like a puppy again, it's really unbelievable. What would we do without them; they carry the best foods and treats out there. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, and I knew about good nutrition but could never find there foods in a local store. I would have to have it shipped from the web, with shipping and handling costs it would be pretty insane. The Doggy Store always has the items in stock that I want and are courteous enough to carry it out to my car when I do big loads. They have even made a delivery to my doorstep for free. If your looking for a alternative to the big box stores, that have no customer service, smell funny, and sell junk, then The Doggy Store is for you.
